Its nearly here...

Its arrived in nearly every other country and now Chanel Perfection Lumiere is soon to hit the UK.

Chanel's newest foundation is ready to hit the UK in the new year. It replaces Pro Lumiere, which I will be sad to see go but I'm definitely excited to see what this has to offer.

It boasts 23 shades which are split into 3 categories: Beige (light to medium), Beige rose (warm undertones) and Beige Ambre (very warm medium tones).

Chanel say its a natural seamless foundation that suits every skin tone.  I'm hoping the lasting power is a lot better than its predecessor Pro Lumiere, only time will tell.

I know where I will be on the 13th January...

Christmas wish list 2011

I thought I would do a little wish list of things I would love this Christmas.  The Balenciaga city bag is really my main lust. I saw it in Vegas, November past, and absolutely fell in love with it.  Definitely making a purchase after January.  Gucci guilty is my chosen scent so I know I will definitely be getting a bottle this Christmas.  The purse spray is my favourite, its so light and wont break if you drop it- trust me I know from experience.

I have just moved into my own house and my mum promised me a Jo Malone candle so I am tres excited about having that little beauty scenting all my rooms.

What's in my bag?

So I've seen this post on a lot of blogs this week, and thought I would show you what I carry around all day.

This bag needs no introduction, it's the gorgeous tan Mulberry Bayswater.

Louis Vuitton cosmetic pouch

I got this little pouch about 2 years ago in Selfridges London. I spyed it on the website and fell in love immediately. My boyfriend was with me and I sent him to look at watches while I sneaked off and bought this haha. Inside I carry Gucci guilty purse spray, YSL lipstick, By Terry concealer and Bobbi Brown bronzer.

Anya Hindmarch music pouch

I did a post on this below. I have to say I love whipping it out in public and getting asked where it's from. shallow but true.

Smythson notebook

I love my Secrets and wishes pink notebook. The paper feels so luxurious and I feel I have to write neatly.

H&M lipstick scarf

I bought this for £2 on eBay and I think you will all agree it was a great buy. I'm wearing it today with a plain top from cheap Monday and it really helps liven it up.

Liz Earle super balm

Best lipbalm ever. You can literally use it everywhere dry hair, elbows, knees and of course lips!

Hermes Wallet

It's huge and pink, enough said.

Anya Hindmarch music pouch

Look at this lovely little pouch I got from a friend. It's a patent music pouch from Anya Hindmarch that can be used for your itouch or blackberry. It has a small headphone hole at the back and a gold bow at the front. I cannot stress how cute this is.

What I love about it is that you can keep your essentials in it i.e phone, key and lipgloss. O yes those are my essentials. Haha.

H&M is HOT right now

I only went in to browse (I swear) but came out with 3 super cute pieces.

Spotted this green and navy shirt as soon as I walked into the shop. I know it's not very summery but I live in northern Ireland so it's acceptable to wear it now- we don't have a summer.

Brown leather skinny belt, wardrobe staple. Wore it round the shirt today to make it more fitted.

How beautiful is this scarf! Absolutely fell in love with it. Love the dark colours; really makes the horse design stand out.

Here's an awkward me showing off my purchases.

Wedding trial

Just wanted to do a quick post on my makeup trial. This was the first makeup trial I had, and I have to say im a happy bunny.

The foundation that the MA used was airbase. It feels like another layer of skin, I loved it. It has great staying power which is something every bride wants on their big day. I wanted a similar look to Pippa Middleton and I think the MA managed to achieve that.

I didn't want heavy eye makeup, I kept to my favourite gold and bronze shades and opted for a pink lip. I love my rosy cheeks, the MA used a peach shade followed by a mineralised Rose shade.

Overall I'm really happy with the look. Its fresh and simple which is exactly what I wanted.

My next trial involves Vita Liberta fake tan stay tuned for pics...

Summer buys

Unnecessary shopping...

Let me present my latest purchases

Topshop Cardigan in berry £35

I absolutely love the colour; its such a strong berry shade. The material is marl which is so soft and comfortable against the skin.

The faux leather detail on the pockets just adds to the cuteness. It was also available in Amber and black.

River island sale dress £20

I get married in October; and were going to NYC and Vegas for our honeymoon so I thought this would be tres cute for dinner in Vegas.

Love the big bow in the middle. I think I'll pair it with tan wedges and Rose gold bangles (Lorraine Stanick style).

Lime vest & necklace (gift)

My mum bought me this in a little boutique near our home. The weather has been do poor recently so I still haven't got to wear it. I usually shy away from colour; which is why I think my mum bought it.

Whistles nude shirt sale £45

This was such a bargain £95 down to £45 I was so happy when I got it. It's a gorgeous nude silk shirt. I usually wear size 8 but size 6 was fine in this shirt. You can dress it up or down; I usually wear it with neutral trousers and wedges. What's great about nude is it goes with everything.

I have always thought of whistles as an older clothing brand but recently I have been loving them. I think my curiosity of the brand has come from Kate Middleton and the infamous cream blouse she wore in her engagement photo.

Pink pout

Another lipstick. I'm obsessed with chanel at the minute, and I must admit I was a little embarrassed when the MA greeted me with "not another lipstick". Is that bad? Surely not.

Anyway onto the product in question. Rouge coco shine shade 58 royallieu. I suppose you could say its a hybrid between lipstick and lipgloss. I love how shiny a lippy it is, I know that's the point but it's just so glossy.

The colour payoff is quite sheer but its enough for day time.

In my opinion it's mac well dressed blush as a lipstick.

A cool toned light weight lipstick what more could you ask for?

This is definitely my new favourite lip product and I look forward to wearing it all summer.

By Terry Touché Veloutee

Concealer is a product I find hard to work. It's either to hard and I cant get it out of the tube, or it's too creamy and it sinks straight into fine lines disappearing within hours.

I'm aware the brains behind By Terry created the world renowned YSL touché éclat (a product I find extremely disappointing) but I was intrigued to try her own brand concealer touché Veloutee after reading Millie from made in Chelsea used it.

Yes it's true i'll happily waste £35 on a concealer just because I know a reality star uses it. Alas I was not disappointed by this silver beauty. It's everything I've been looking for in a concealer.

Pros

Full coverage
Illuminating-perfect on the sides of the nose and cupids bow
Hides my hard circles and opens up my eyes

Cons

Price
The brush is really hard, I would have preferred a more fluffy brush for the price

It's a fantastic product I urge you all to go to your nearest space nk and try it.

Decisions decisions

I'm getting married in October and I'm trying to decide on my makeup. I have spent the last few months searching, buying and trying different lip products in the hope to find the perfect one.

Below are my top 5.

1- Chanel lip pencil in Rose
Rouge coco shine lipstick in boy

2- Mac lip liner in sub culture
Mac clear gloss

3- Rimmel lipstick in summer

4- Mac lipstick in Viva Glam B30

5- YSL Rouge Pur Couture in tea rose

If I had to choose now I think I would be leaning towards Mac Viva Glam. Its such a gorgeous shimmering nude that really plumps up your lips.

Zara

I'm obsessed with blazers, I love how they dress up jeans and plain t-shirt. Whilst browsing through Zara I spotted this little beauty. It also came in shocking pink.

Navy goes with so much and is an all season colour (see how I justify my shopping) so clearly it was a crime not to buy it.

I got it in a small which is a little roomy, but I thought with a jumper in autumn/winter it would be perfect.

How nautical is the inside! I look like a proper little sailer (that can't swim)

Inside of the sleeve is bright navy blue. I just love how well this blazer was made. It's absolutely fantastic quality for £40.
